Tio Agustin and Agustinsito's Santo

Today is the Santo of my godfather/uncle and my cousin/his son. They are both very important to me. I haven't seen them in a while and I miss them.

First Day

Yesterday was the first day of school. I liked my classes and my new teachers are okay. I can't believe that it is my last year. I mean wow this is going to be so much fun.

She's Back

After two months of being gone my grandma is back. Right now she is with my uncle and will be here with me in a couple of days. I take this all as a good thing because I get in early to school this year and I want to spend some of my vacation with her.

Fathers Day

Today was Father's Day. My family took my dad to eat at Sizzler. We had fun and jocked around all day long. I love my dad and nothing will ever change that.

Visitors

Today a lot of people came over it was a lot of fun. My Uncle Agustin and his family came to pick up my grandma. She is going to stay with them for a while before she leaves for Mexico. Then my grandpa Rafael and my Tia Nena and Tio Juan Carlos dropped by. It was good to see grandpa Rafael,even though he isn't my grandpa. He is my maternal grandfathers brother, but when my grandpa Jesus died he took care of my mom and her family so I love him like a grandfather. It was a lot of fun to have a family reunion today.

Leadership Training

This week I went to through leadership training for link crew. It was a lot more fun than I had anticipated and I enjoyed it a lot. Who knew that learning to be a leader could be so much fun. There was some things that were challenging but it was a lot of fun. Plus, I got to see all of my friends that is a definite bonus.

Agustinsito's Birthday

Today is my cousin Augustin's birthday he is now 2 years old. He is so adorable, every day he looks more and more like his dad. he is one major trouble maker. Well hopefully not like his dad because then my uncle would have a handful.

First Day of Summer Vacation

So today is the first day of summer vacation, yipe. this summer my grandma is in Mexico and its going to be different. What kind of adventures am I going to get myself into only time will tell.Lets hope summer will be awesome this year. It is my last high school summer.

LAST DAY

Today is the last of school, sad and also exciting. I am going to miss all of my friends and some of my teachers but it is about time that I get a long break from school. Clarissa's Birthday

Today was the birthday of my cousin Clarissa. She turned 8 years old, does time fly. It seems like just yesterday that my brother wanted her to learn to walk so that they could play together. Now he tries to get her to stop following him, but don't we all when we are younger. She is one of my little angels and I love when she comes by to visit.

Today was my grandma's and my santo. I had fun my mom mad posole, which is my favorite Mexican dish. Even though I didn't get any presents I had a lot of fun with my family. Plus my dad took my out on Sunday.

The Beach

Today I went to the beach with my family. My mom's sister(my Aunt) and her family came with us. It was a lot of fun. We all had a splash fight and we covered my little brother with sand. We ate and then continued to play.I decided that I wanted to get a tan,but i fell asleep in the shade. We left and came back home because my grandmother was going to spend a week with my Aunt. It was because my cousin was going to be doing her first communion and my grandmother wanted to be there with her on that special occasion.

AP Tests

AP tests are so hard. This year I had one AP class,but took two AP tests. The first was for AP Spanish Language. I am pretty confident that I got a good score in that test. The next was AP US History. I tried my hardest in the history test and I studied a lot, but I am very nervous about my results in this test. Hopefully I pass both test, that would totally rock.

CINCO DE MAYO

Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence day. It is the day that Mexico celebrates their win in the Battle of Puebla. I had fun today. My little sister was dresses as a guare, which is a little Indian girl. She looked so cute. I have pictures of me like that when I was her age. I should my spirit tw by wearing a shirt for Cinco de Mayo.

Lowriders

Lowriders are usually cars that most people wouldn't drive. In reality they are pretty cool. At Old Town today there was a display of them and I have to say that I will have a lowrider. these cars are a true work of art and I think that owning one would be pretty cool. My little brother and older cousin know a lot about cars and i thank God that I have them. The car that I want is a 1967 Chevy Impala.

La Fiesta Old Town

Today me and my went to the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta that was being hosted at old town. It was really cool. I got to see a lot of things about the Battle of Puebla and other Mexican traditions. My little sister got a pink guitar and she was really happy about that. We decided to eat at a restaurant where my mom knows the owner. The food there was delicious and the churros there rocked. We listened to the Mariachi and saw the people that performed. I ended up buying a shirt and a dress that were really pretty.

Swimming

Today I went to the pool. I t was a lot of fun and it was the first time in a long time that I went. I began to teach my little sister how to swim. Then I had a splash fight between my brother and sister and me. I had so much fun.

Abuelito Jose's Birthday

Today would have been my grandfathers 83rd birthday. He died on September 31, 2003 from cancer. He was my fathers dad and in a way also mine. He was my father for the first 4 years of my life. After I moved to San Diego I never got to see him. I would talk to him on the phone but that wasn't the same. I miss him a lot and wish that I had gotten to see him one last time before he passed away. It was hard to lose him and many times I cry because of the void he left in my heart after he left.

AVID Dash for College

Today was the AVID Dash For College. It was fun and all the money that was brought in went to the Class of '09 AVID Class. I had fun and most of my friends were their. The only bad thing that came out of it was that I got a sun burn from walking around the track field( which was required).

Luis Angel

Today was my cousin Luis Angel's birthday. He is now 7 years old. I haven't gotten the chance to meet him because he lives in New York and I live in San Diego. We talk on the phone sometimes and we both have pictures of each other. I really do hope that he has a happy birthday to day and that someday I will be able to spend his birthday with him.

SAT II

Today I took two SAT Subject test and I hope that I passed them. The first was Spanish and I think that it was pretty easy. I mean being a Latina and having Spanish being my first language it seemed like a piece of cake. I can't say the same for history and I think that that test was really hard.

El Dia de los Niños

Today is the day for the kids in Mexico. Thats right its time for our parents to give us presents, just like we do when its Mother's Day and Father's Day. This celebration has been going on for years and it is accustumend in Mexico to give back to children today. I have so many beautiful memories of this day. So all you kids out there whether you are a new bron baby or are 17 today is your day. Make sure that you enjoy it and remember live every day to your fullest.

The Pool

Today there was a heat wave in El Cajon and it will continue tomorrow. So my family and i decided to go to the pool. It has been a really long time since I had benn in a pool. i think the last time was during my freshmen yera in P.E. when we had to swim. Well I had a lot of fun and I will be teaching my little sister how to swim now.

Earth Fair at Balboa Park

Today I went to the earth fair at Balboa Park. It was fun and I spend a day with my family. I learned a lot about the environment and i think that it is important to protect what we have before its gone. I was really tired though because I had just gotten back from the AVID trip and now I had to walk even more. But all in all I really had good time, I even got my face painted.

University of California- Los Angeles

The last School that we visited was the University of California- Los Angeles. It brought back a lot of memories because I had previously visited the campus when I was in 8th grade. Only that field trip was scary. Our teacher got the group lost many times, there were people chasing squirrels and the guys in my group were acting like total idiots. There were some people on the trip that did act like idiots, but this experience was so much better. I had a lot of fun, our tour guide was an El Cajon Valley high school(ECV) alumni of the 2006 class. The campus is huge and really makes for a great work out. I had a lot of fun when you exclude all the walking that we had to do. there dorms there are really pretty, though it feels like you just went through a hike just to get to them. I was also able to get a souvenir from UCLA and I ate Sbarro pizza. It really was amazing and I am considering going to that school.

University of California- Santa Barbara

The third college that I had the pleasure of visiting was UCSB. It was a really beautiful campus and it situated close to the ocean. It is was interesting that there a lot of bike lanes, so before you go anywhere make sure that there is nobody coming. The first thing that we did once we arrived on campus was eat, I thought it was really fuuny what happen to me and my friends. We went to look for Panda Express and it turns out that there was a down stairs where we looked and that was were it was located. Talk about common sense to look at what is down stairs, but for some reason it didn't occur to us to do so. I did have a great time there and eventually I ended up eating Wendy's. I did get a suveniur at the book store.

California State University- Channel Island

CUSCI was an interesting school, it is very secluded and has a beautiful campus. Though I don't really think that I would go there, there was this weird vibe. It was interesting to know that there were some movies that were filmed there. On of them was The Undergraduate, in which the schools basketball court was used. There is well close to the school that was used in the film, The Ring. The thing that I thought was a little disturbing was that the new library was built on the spot that used to be the mortuary. I some what believe in the supernatural and I think that it would not suit well with me. It as a lot of fun and I did enjoy the tour that was given to us by one of the teacher's friends.

California State University- Long Beach

The first University that we visited was CSU- LB. The campus was big and it had a lot of cool things to see. We got to see the school mascot and many of us took pictures with him, their mascot is a Prospector. My favorite two things on campus were the Dandelion Fountain and the Blue Pyramid. I later learned that inside the Blue Pyramid, is the school GYM and their Basketball court. Mr. Nami took us on a tour and we got to see one of the classrooms, we also got to write on the chalk board. Then I went and ate at Subway. Were the cashier was flirting with one of my friends, I though that was really funny. Me and my friends had dinner and then went to meet everyone so that we could leave and go to the first hotel.

Junior Avid College Trip

The Junior AVID College Trip was so much fun, I'm so happy that I got to go. I got to learn a lot about the universities that I visited and there were some neat things about them. though I think the best thing i learned was that even though there are a lot of things that I have to do my dreams haven't changed. I learned about what kind of school I want to go to. There were of course some crazy things that went on. There was a jacuzzi in the first hotel that I stayed in and I wasn't going to miss the opportunity, so I got in. Then there was all the pranks not only between the students, but on the way home to of the students pranked the teachers, it was kind of funny, though one wrong turn by one of the students and we could have all been in big trouble. There was also this time that my cousin dressed to of the guys on the trip like girls: attire and the makeup as well. Seeing that was a little frightening. One thing that I do have to say is that i will never forget this trip, it was awesome and I will the pictures took forever as a reminder of this great trip.

Chivas vs. America

The game is on, today is the classical game in Mexican soccer. It is Chivas versus America, which is the Mexican equivalent of Chargers vs Raiders. I love soccer and my dad raised my watching Mexican soccer games. Unlike in football I do chose a side to be on. Although me dad goes for America, I find that my team is Chivas. Sometimes my dad gets mad but i just can't go for America. I do hope that Chivas wins.

ACT

Yesterday I took the Act no writing test at SDSU. It was really difficult and I hope that I get a good score. Afterwards I went to Balboa Park. It was fun and I went to the big fountain and got wet so I had to walk back to Downtown San Diego where I ate at Subway. Then when I came back home i went to my cousin Marcos' Birthday party. I got to see my lil cousin, Angel for the first time and he is so adorable. Then at night one of my friends called and I could hear my other friend yelling in the background. It was funny he really needed to take a chill pill.

First Day Back

Today I went back to school, it was kind of a slow day because of the fact that during the break I would fall asleep late and sleep in. So I was really sleepy during my classes. It was great to see all of my friends again. I had missed them all so much. I was glad to be back and I had so much homework. Talk about overload the first day of school.

FAMILY VISIT

My mom's sister came to visit us today. My uncle was going to pick up my grandmother from the airport. I was kind of dreading there visit because it is so boring when they are here. The fact that my uncle is a control freak and that him and my aunt raised my cousins a certain way gets me mad. for one thing my cousins don't even speak Spanish and thats just sad, they have to fluent Spanish speaking parents and when they speak in Spanish it sounds very broken. Although they have visited Mexico, they don't know a lot about the culture or the cuisine. It is a pity to be a certian race and not know anything about that culture.

LAST DAY OF VACATION

Today is the last day of vacation and I plan on enjoying it no matter what. My little sister asked me if I could curl her hair and I think that she looks gorgeous. My family and I are going to the mall, and were awaiting my grandmothers return from New York. The break is now coming to a close and I have had a lot of fun. tomorrow we go back to school and I can't wait to see all of my friends again.

SHE'S BACK

After her three week vacation in New York, my grandmother is back. I really did miss her, though I didn't miss all of the arguments that some way or another we would get into. She is the only grandmother that I have left. When i saw my little sister crying because she missed her abuela, it reminded me of all the times that i had missed her and still do and I don't care if that sounds cheesy. I'm not afraid to say that i love my grandmother.

TODAY

I went to eat at the place were my dad works and ate lunch. I had one carne asada taco and three tacos al pastor. They really good and I had a lot of fun while I was there. I was happy to see my friend Adrian again, I had seen him since August of last year. My dad was working hard as always.

SAT

Well me and many others from my AVID class took the SAT on March 1st and the scores are due any day now. I'm really sacred on what my score is and if I did well. Well heres hoping but thankfully I can always retake it.

Chuck E Cheese

Yesterday I went to Chuck E Cheese. Well after going to church my dad informs me that we are going to take my little sister to Chuck E Cheese for Easter. I thought that it was so nice of him to inform me after church and not at home when he saw that i was wearing a skirt and boots. It was fun, I got to get my dad back when I took a picture of him playing a soccer game. My brother and I were just mess around with each other and having fun. I did see a cute looking guy while I was there though, so I guess that the day wasn't so bad after all.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I accomplished my goal of lent. I went 40 days without drinking soda. To some people that I know it may seem like nothing, but if you take some thing that you do it is really hard. I'm not just talking about food, there are people that give up TV, or one of their hobbies. A person that I know decided to give up gossip for the forty days. My brother didn't agree with my decision, he thought that I was only going to torture myself with this decision. I found it funny a couple of times when my mom or other family members would forget and offer my a soda. I would just laugh and remind them of my promise. I think that when you are involved with your faith you not only learn about your faith, but about yourself to. I have found that now that I have become more close with life and with my self . I have realized that it is time for me eyes to be open and I have been seeing things in a new light. Well next year I don't know what I'll give up for lent. I remember though that last year both me and my Uncle Agustin gave up soda and this year it was me and my cousin Clarissa.

It is....

Today is Easter and I plan on having a lot of fun today. It is one of my favorite holidays, after Christmas of course. It is a time for celebration because according to the bible it is the day that Christ rose from his grave after being dead for three days. One of my teacher told my that in Russia Christmas was Easter in the time of the Czar's. Those Fabergé eggs in the royal family are full of intricate designs and they were only given during easter. There is after all a misconception on what the easter bunny has to do with the resurrection of Christ. Well it all starts with the spring, which is the rebirth of the earth and everything that inhabits it. Spring also bring the end of hibernation for most some animals. Bunnies are animals that are mostly associated with spring, so they to represent rebirth. Well there are a lot of things to do today, I have to go to church.

Dad and Uncle

Yesterday was my Uncle José Birthday, he is one of the youngest sons my grandmother had and currently she is with him in New York. He has always been there for me when I needed help. For the first four years of my life he was my father. I used to call him dad until I was old enough to understand that he was my uncle. He still takes care of me. It really sucks that i don't get to see him anymore, but I talk to him on the phone all the time. I wish that I will be able to see him soon. hopefully my grandma takes some pictures of him, my aunt and my cousin during her stay with them.

Santo

Today is my brothers and my dads Santo. In some parts of Mexico people celebrate things called Santo's. This day is a celebration of a given saint, if there is a saint with your name than you celebrate your santo. Its kind of like a birthday you get. We went to go eat at Olive Garden, it was a lot of fun. I loved the Tiramisu dessert. My mom and my dad enjoyed themselves. It is right that great minds think alike because they both ordered the same things.

Today

Well its that day again. You all know what I'm talking about, its St. Patrick's day again. You know the day that you wake up to go to school or work only to pinch those that aren't wearing green. There are though a lot of misconception about St. Patty's day, so lets look into the day a little closer shall we. It is true that St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, but it is not just and Irish holiday. It is also a Catholic holiday, for you see St. Patrick's Day is not the only Saints Day celebrated. In Mexico there are plenty of saints days that are celebrated. Well enjoy today and pinch as many people as you can.

Rainy day

Today is the first official day of Spring break and it is already raining. Oh well what are you going to do about it. My and my little sister are going to watch movies all day long. Good thing I got to the post office before it started raining. I had to mail in a scholarship which I hope to get. Well I hope that it doesn't rain tomorrow because were taking my dad out to a family day and we want to enjoy ourselves. When it rains it pours and I think a day in is what I need.

Priscilla

My little cousin turned five on Wednesday. I love all of my little cousins and even though I haven't met her in person she is special to me. She is my sisters age, but since she lives in New York, we don't get to see her. My grandma left to go visit her and even though I miss my grandma I am happy that she got to spend my cousins birthday with her. I hope that they are enjoying themselves right now. To the right is her as a baby and I hope that my grandma brings back pictures of what my little cousin looks like now. I think that it is so cute when she tries to talk because she is really quiet and you can barely here her. I think that she is really shy. Though she loves vanilla cake and it suits her because they are both sweet. Like my little sister her favorite color is pink.

THE ZOO

Last Friday I went to the the Centro Cultural in Balboa Park and after that I went to the zoo. I had a lot of fun and it was interesting. There was a place that I discovered on this trip to the zoo. I had never seen the insect house that they had at the zoo. My friend Vero that is fascinated with snakes made us see all the snakes at the zoo. Her favorite is the Anaconda. I love to see the monkeys and the elephants, which I saw. I also got to see meerkats, lemurs, wild cats, mongoose and lots of ducks. I also saw a peacock, it was beautiful and it sacred me to. I now know that it is never a good idea to try to touch a peacock. Never get to close to a wild animal. I had fun and the little girl inside me was satisfied for a while. Now I have to wait for easter to be a little girl again.

My Homegurl

Well today has been full of surprises and of somethings that I expected to happen. Well my time day was a blast and one my friends was surprised when I guessed something about her that she hadn't told me. Well Eva was surprised but knowing her for as long as have, it is easy to figure out what she wants to tell me sometimes. She is not a friend, but my sister. I do try to look after her from time to time and she has been in my life for the longest of times. We met when we were in kindergarten and we have been through many things together. There have been good times and bad times, but have stuck together and are still great friend. We hold each other secrets and i know that we would never betray each other. She is a lovely person and friends like her aren't found everyday, which is why am glad to have such a great sis.

Betrayal

There comes a time in life in which we realize what people truly are. When the mask that has been placed upon us is finally lifted and we see the world clearly. I guess that for me that time has come and it is finally time for me to see things as they are and realize all that is going on around me. Betrayal is what finally opened my eyes and I'm glad that this occurred because I finally see all of the errors that I committed in the past. I can begin to live my life thinking about myself and try to make sure that I'm able to have all the fun that I want and I have been able to enjoy my life. I feel like the leach i had has finally been removed and that no more will I have to worry about someone that isn't worth my time. Because the number one thing that i hate is fake people, I make sure that the people i talk to now aren't fake. Life is full of surprises and there will be a time when what you did to someone will be done to you by someone else. With each new experience that I encounter I'm able to become stronger. Like they say that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger. No longer will I be lied to or fooled by those who pretended to be my friends, it is time for me to show the world and those that betrayed me who I really am. Hope there ready to meet the real me.

Funny Life

So last week my my dad's older sister came to visit us and I had a lot fun talking to her, my uncle and my cousin. My aunt is really nice and she looks exactly like my grandmother. She is a nice kind women and I love her a lot. Right now she is living with her daughter(my cousin) in Las Vegas. There she gets to visit her granddaughters(my nieces). I hope that I will be able to see her soon. My cousin is a lot of fun and my brother and him really bonded. I think that it would be good for my little brother to have a male influence other than my dad. My brother view my cousin Pedro as an older brother, plus they can talk about cars for hours and never get bored.

Leap Year

Today is the 29 of February. Once every four years this day appears on our calenders and I always wonder what happens to those people that are born on 2/29. They age just like all of us do, but do they count there age by day or by the years that they have been alive. Would it be weird to only be considered three years old when you have been alive for twelve. How do people deal with that? Do they pick the day before or after to celebrate thier birthday on not leap years.

Mi Mama

My mom is my number 1. She has been there for me in my failures and successes. My joys and my tragedies. Her birthday was yesterday and I tried to make it special. Although I couldn't buy her anything, I dedicated and sang a song to her because she deserves to know how much I love her . She is the women that I admire the most because of all the challenges that she has faced in life. At the age of nine her father did and left behind a wife and six children. My mom lost her childhood. At nine she took care of four children while my grandma worked. She went through a lot and for a while she was single mother. She is always here for me and I will always be here for her.

Dame Chocolate

Dame Chocolate was one of the best telenovelas I have seen, but it brought to me a story I will never forget. It proves that when something is supposed to happen no one person can change fate or destiny. There also is the story of how one person can change so much over a few days. That an event can change a person more than someone can imagine. Life has a mysterious way of making things happen maybe for good or bad, but one thing is for sure everything that happens in life has a reason behind it. There are purposes for the bad and even tough they seem horrific, they teach us some of the most valuable lessons of life. There is a quote that I love from this telenovela:

Barbie

Okay I know that the title is a bit childish, but everyone is still a child deep inside so don't laugh. I guess my little sister allows my to be a child to. She is 4 years old and has almost the entire Barbie movie collection. Which we are watching today, one after another. It's not as bad as it sounds because I enjoy spending time with my little sister. Plus the movies themselves are not so bad once you watch them. Each of these movies has a beautiful plot and lesson that follows the story.

Barbie as Rapunzel:
Most people know the story of Rapunzel, but in this movie there is a twist. Rapunzel lives a witch named Gothel and she is kept trapped in a manor that is blocked to outsiders by a magic wall. The only company that she has are her friends, a dragon named Penelope and a rabbit named Hobie, and her art. She is kept in the manor as a servant to Gothel, until on day she finds a tunnel that leads to a near by village where she meets Prince Stefan all the while she is watch by Otto. Otto informs Gothel of Rapunzel's resent adventure which leads to Rapunzel being locked in the tower, but with the help of a magic brush she manages to see Stefan again. Later Gothel traps her in the tower and leaves to finish something she started years ago. Rapunzel breaks through the spell that Gothel put on the tower and goes to save the day. By doing so she finds that Gothel hates her because she was once in love with her father, but that love was not returned. In the end Gothel is trapped in the tower and Otto is her new servant. While Rapunzel is reunited with her parents and gets married to Stefan.

Barbie of Swan Lake:
The story of the swan princess is mostly known as well. This one is a little different tough because it's just Odette that is turned into an animal when the sun rises in the morning. In this version Odette is the daughter of a baker not a king. She enters the Enchanted Forest when she follows a unicorn that was in a predicament. There she learns that the unicorn talks and she tries to help it because it has gotten tied to a tree. Odette looks for something to cut the rope with and she pulls a crystal from a tree. Once Lila(the unicorn) is freed the Fairy Queen approaches Odette to tell her the she is the one that the people of the Enchanted Forest have been waiting for. The Fairy Queen tells her that her cousin Rothbart rules the forest with the use of black magic and that only the bearer of the crystal can defeat him, with the help of true love of course. Rothbart plots to destroy Odette with the help of his daughter. He brings in Prince Daniel to do so because the creatures of the enchanted forest are helpless to hunters. Prince Daniel doesn't kill Odette instead he falls in love with her. He invites her to a ball where he will vow his love to her. Rothbart and his daughter trick Daniel to vow his love to Odile( Rothbart's daughter). Just when all hope seems to be lost the love of Odette and Daniel defeats Rothbart. All that is left is for Daniel and Odette to get married and the enchanted forest is restored to what it was before Rothbart arrived.

Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper:
In this version of the story it is girls not boys that the story revolves around. Two girls born at the same time and identical in appearance. One the Princess Anneliese born to the king and queen. She was raised with only the best and taught that her duty was to the people of her kingdom. The other a peasant girl named Erika, born to a poor family. Her parents loved her just as much as the king and queen loved there daughter, but they feared that with their status their daughter would be starved. They looked for help with Madame Carp, a seamstress from the village. As Erika grew up she worked at Madame Carp's dress emporium to pay of her parents dept. It's not surprising that they would never meet with such different lives, but fate had a different plan. When the kingdom goes bankrupt Queen Genevieve forces her daughter to marry Prince Dominic to save their kingdom. While on a stroll with Julian, the man that Anneliese is in love with, she meets Erika. That night Anneliese is kidnapped by the henchman of Priminger (the administrator of the kingdom). He wants to rule the kingdom. Julian asks Erika to pose as the princess while the mystery is solved. While she does this Erika falls in love with Dominic. Anneliese escapes only to be trapped in the mines, along with Julian and her cat Serafina, By Priminger. When Priminger returns he informs the queen that Anneliese is dead and that Erika is an imposter. Erika gets thrown into the dungeon and it is up to her cat Wolfie to save Annelise, Serafina and Julian. Meanwhile the queen has agreed to marry Priminger in order to save the kingdom. The day is saved when Priminger's plans are revealed to everyone. Him and his henchman are thrown to jail and Anneliese is allowed to follow her heart. While Erika desides to follow her dreams and become a singer, but she realizes that her heart desires something else. Erika marries Dominic and Anneliese marries Julian at the same time, they decide to share each others joy.

Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus:
Barbie stars as Annika a princess whose life is about to get a little more complicated. Her parents are very over protective of her and she thinks it is unfair. On the eve of her 16 birthday she is proposed marriage by a wizard named Wenlock. Wenlock tells the king not to interfere or Annika's fate will be like that of the kings other daughter. When she refuses he turns everyone in the kingdom into stone. At the moment Annika and her pet polar bear named Shiver are saved by a winged horse named Brietta. Brietta takes Annika to Cloud Kingdom where Annika learns that the only way to defeat Wenlock is with a "Wand of Light". She also learns that her sister is Brietta and that Brietta was turned into a Pegasus by Wenlock. Brietta and Annika journey to the Forbidden Forest to find one of the ingredients that they need to make the wand of light. There they meet Aiden a blacksmith that can help them. While in the forest Shiver is caught in some trouble and Annika saves her with a measurement of courage, one of the ingredients needed for the wand. They assemble all of the pieces needed for the wand and Brietta is turned back to herself. In the end they defeat Wenlock by using the "Wand of Light" by using love and not disdain. Annika and Aiden get married and the "Wand of Light" is turned into a star by Queen Rayla of the Cloud Kingdom.

Barbie as the 12 Dancing Princess:
This entails the 12 princess of King Randolph. Genevieve, Ashlyn, Blair, Courtney, Delia, Edeline, Fallon, Hadley, Isla, Janessa, Kathleen and Lacey are considered by others to not act like real princess. So the king acquires the help[ of his cousin the Duchess Rowena to help the girls out. Little does he know that Rowena has her own tricks and plans to achieve. Rowena changes the lives of the princesses radically. Their only escape is through dance and song. But on the birthday of Janessa, Kathleen and Lacey, dancing and singing is banned by Rowena. Genevieve seeks help from Derek( a shoemaker) when she sees that Rowena is talking to a strange man. All the while the princess have found refuge in a magical land that is connected to their room. When Lacey and Genevieve her their dad tell Rowena that they are a burden to him, the princess decide to leave for a time so there dad can learn to appreciate them. Little do they know that Rowena is slowly poisoning their dad so that she can rule their kingdom. Derek finds the apothecary that Rowena was talking to and decided to tell Genevieve the information that he has discovered. When he goes to the palace he is informed that the princess have run away, unable to believe this he waits till night and enters their chamber. There he learns the secret of the enchanted land, but he is not the only one. Brutus, Rowena's monkey, informs his mistress and Rowena tries to trap the princess in the magical land. the princess escape and save their father with the help of Derek. Genevieve and Derek get married and the princess learn about the power that they have inside.

Barbie Fairytopia:
Barbie portrays Elina a wingless fairy that lives in the Magic Meadow. Elina and her friend Dandelion earn that the guardians are being kidnapped by Laverna. Elina decides to return home to her flower with her puffball Bibble. Only to discover when she wakes up that all of the flowers in the meadow are hurt and that some fairies are having trouble flying. She journeys to seek help from the fairy guardian Azura, who lives in Fairy town. When Azura is captured by Laverna's fungi it is up to Azura to find the dryad Dahlia. With the help of Hue and a merman prince named Nalu she reaches the foret in which Dahlia lives. With her new friends Elina travels to Laverna's layer were she faces the evil fairy. She must decide on saving fairytopia or her vary own wings. Elina saves the day and is rewarded with wings by the Enchantress, the ruler of Fairytopia.

Barbie Mermaidia:
Elina returns this time to save her friend Nalu that has kidnapped by Laverna's fungi. Elina journeys to Mermaidia to help save Nalu. There she meets Nori, a mermaid that seems to dislike her. Igoring Nori's advice to leave Mermaidia and decides to find a way to save Nalu. Once in Mermadia Elina learns from Nori that only Delphine can tell them the location of Nalu. Elina and Nori travel to find the ferry guide that turns out to be Delphine. Delphine tells them that they have to journey to the Deeps of despair and find the Mirror of the Mist to save Nalu. Also that Elina must sacrifice her wings for a tail. Mean while Nalu is leaging the fungi to the immunity berry that makes the eater immune to all magic past, present and future. if Nalu doesn't then the fungi while destroy Mermadia. Nori and Elina reach the mirror and Elina had to give up her wings to help Nori. The mirror gives them doiretions to the location of Nalu. Elina and Nori save the say by not only taking the berry away from the fungi but also the vile that would have destroyed Mermaidia. The only problem is that Elina is still a mermaid, that is soon resolved when she eats a berry that makes her the person that she is supposed to be. Nalu and Nori realize that the both love each other and Laverna is turned into a toad.

Barbie Fairytopia Magic of the Rainbow:
Elina returns this time to become Azura's apprentice and learn the Flight of Spring. Elina must travel to the Crystal Palace were she will learn how to perform this ritual. There she meets new friends and enemies. Laverna meanwhile is plotting her revenge on Elina and her sister the Enchantress. By mistake Elina returns Laverna to her turn form and Laverna takes on the form of Stardust another apprentice. Then Laverna orders Max, her head fungus, to make the guardians fall asleep. Due to the that the apprentices must perform the Flight of Spiring. With guidance of the Enchantress the apprentices learn to do the ritual. While performing the Flight of Spring Elina realizes the stardust is Laverna in Disguise and she decides to go and find the real Stardust. Laverna forces the Enchantress to hand over the crown and then tries to destroy the blush. Elina with the help of the other apprentices defeats Laverna and revives the blush to save fairytopia from from 10 years of winter.

Barbie as the Island Princess:
In this movie Barbie stars as Ro a girl that was shipwrecked on an island. Ro grows up with the animals of the island. Sagi a red panda, Azul a peacock and Tika a young elephant. Until one day Prince Antonio sets foot the island and offers to take Ro to see civilization. When Antonio returns he learns that his father has arranged a marriage with the Princess Luciana, whose mother Queen Ariana has plot to destroy the kingdom. Ariana tries to make Ro look like a fool during a session of tea with the royal family. During the royal ball og the engagement of Luciana and Antonio, Ro dazzles everyone with her presence and that causes Ariana to incriminate Ro so that she leaves the kingdom. While on the way back home Ro and her animal friends are thrown of the ship and her memory returns. She returns to make a remedy to heel the animals. She reveals that Ariana wanted to take over the kingdom and saves the day. Then she reunites with her mom and remembers that he real name is Rosella. She marries Prince Antonio and they leave on a ship to explore the sea.
